The slippery slope argument never held up in any high school round of debate, but if ever it were to be used and actualized, it would be now. 
 
I never fully recovered from the first.  And since then, I've jumped from pit to pit.  I can't differentiate the good from the bad; I just treat them all the same.  I've become aloof and flakey.  And it's only because that's what has been done to me.
