This summer heat is so unbelievably hot! I sit in front of my computer and I sweat! (LOL, maybe perspire is a better word...) Anyway, I feel like I'm in such a rut. Perhaps it's due to the heat, but I feel like my life is on cruise control. Each day, I don't wake up until 9 or 10am, only to get ready to go to work by 12:30. (I usually don't get there til 1pm anyway, cuz I gotta take Jerry to basketball practice.) Once in class, I just get in the zone and I feel like I'm just through the motions; things just kinda fall into place. I know I'm teaching cuz by the end of the day, I'm so pooped. But it's that 2.5 hours that I'm actually teaching that I feel like I'm not. I know it sounds strange, and maybe it's a good thing because I may just be a natural-born teacher? At least that's what Mrs. Wellenstein says. (I'm sure Tony would second that.)

Anyway, it's not that I don't have lots of excitement in my life... but the highlight of my day is coming home to watch "The Simpsons" and "King of the Hill." Then late into the night, I play with my siblings, everything from chess to all our N64 games. (Ack! Somebody help me...)
